What is the Lethoff Gateway?

The Lethoff Gateway is an always online, on-demand portal for all of your retail transaction needs. Including Credit/Debit, Check Authorization and Gift Card transaction processing. The Gateway provides authorization, data capture, batch settlement and on-line reporting functions for all of you electronic payment needs.

It's unique system architecture LETworks™ allows retailers to move seamless between a Lethoff Gateway hosted and a self operated retailer environment without loss of functions or content.

The Lethoff Gateway implementation team provides turnkey implementation into most retail POS environments including IBM POS and NCR POS systems. Our XML Gateway allows connectivity from Windows, Linux and other XML capable POS systems.

Unlike a single merchant platform switch, the gateway provides service levels and connectivity for a variety of merchant types ranging from general merchants like specialty stores to hotels, supermarkets, restaurants and others. Depending on the merchant type unique transaction processes are invoked with the selected processor. 

The Lethoff Gateway offers three major access points, a TCP/IP and UDP gateway, a SSL gateway and a XML gateway.  The XML gateway is designed to provide transaction processing for Ecommerce clients; the other gateway connectivity is normally reserved for typical brick and mortar retail outlets such as specialty stores, restaurants, super markets and others alike.
